We asked

How does your experience as a player, coach, and official help your writing?
Each role gives you a different view of the game. Playing teaches you what happens on the field in real time. Coaching shows you strategy and preparation. Officiating makes you understand rules and how they’re applied in crucial moments.
Why is college football your main focus?
College football has incredible variety, different conferences, playing styles, and competitive levels that create unique matchups every week. Plus, traveling across the Midwest to see games in person gives me insights you can’t get from watching on TV.
You're known for not shying away from controversy, why is that important?
Sports analysis shouldn’t just tell people what they want to hear. If the statistics and evidence point to an unpopular conclusion, I’m going to share it and explain my reasoning. I love spirited debate as long as it stays civil and fact-based.
