    With the recent tragic passing of Long Island boxer Patrick Day, fighter safety has once again come to the forefront for many fight fans and mainstream sports media like Max Kellerman of ESPN. Michael Montero gives his opinion on the typical suggestions – Headgear, Larger Gloves and Same Day Weigh-Ins – and why all three WON’T WORK. In fact, Montero argues they will only make the situation WORSE.
