The XFL isn’t set to start up again until 2020, but each week, Kevin and Troy talk about something different related to what will be the league’s second season after its first in 2001. This week, the youngster and old man talk about what player contracts were like in 2001. Will that stay the same for a league 19 years later?

Also, the XFL threw out a question on Twitter (@xfl2020), “Would you be interested in hearing the communication between coaches, QBs or defensive captains during #XFL games?” The duo discusses this as well – will it be what puts the XFL over the edge? Or, does it ultimately come down to good football in order to keep a fan base engaged and growing?
