For the past four-and-a-half years, the widow of Tommy “The Duke” Morrison has been on a crusade to honor a deathbed promise to her husband and prove that he never had the HIV virus, and did not die of AIDS.
On May 7, Trisha Morrison filed papers to argue Tommy’s case in front of the U.S. Supreme Court — the highest court in our land — where she’ll present proof from multiple doctors that Quest Laboratories bungled the two-time heavyweight champion’s blood tests, and that the Nevada State Boxing Commission was complicit in terminating Tommy Morrison’s multi-million-dollar boxing career.
On this special edition of The Ringside Boxing Show, we interview Trisha Morrison in-depth about her husband’s case and why it’s important enough to be heard by the Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, don’t miss the regular edition of The Ringside Boxing Show (posted on this network on Sunday), during which we have a wide-reaching conversation WBC featherweight champion Gary Russell Jr. (who defends his grown against unbeaten Joseph Diaz Jr. this Saturday on Showtime), and also talk to our expert analysts about the weekend fights — Lomachenko-Linares and Munguia-Ali — as well as The Ring Magazine’s incestuous relationship with its owner/overlord, Golden Boy Promotions.
And be sure to check us out again this coming Sunday, when our featured guest will be Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller.
