Yes, everyone, Chris and Graham are still alive. We know it has been a long time since Out of Left Field has graced the ears of The Grueling Truth Network faithful and we are so happy to finally be back and we are certainly at no shortage of topics to discuss.

The trade deadline has passed, remember no waiver wire this season, and teams are being lauded for big moves and blasted for complete inactivity. Normally we would “grade the trade” but since the Houston Astros pretty much flipped the bird to the rest of Major League Baseball when the acquired Zack Greinke we talk about the true story: did tanking actually work?

Plus, the Atlantic League is introducing more dramatic changes to the baseball landscape. The guys discuss the good, the bad, and the downright horrible ideas that are being tested in a joint venture with Major League Baseball.
