This week on Irish Football Weekly, Josh and Tony want to send out their thoughts and prayers to all that were impacted by Hurricane Florence.
After a lousy win against a Vanderbilt team that had their chances to win the game, the guys discuss Brandon Wimbush, distributing the ball more, and how that offensive line has played for the first 3 games of the season. As far as the defense goes, “If it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it.” That was Josh’s motto for that defense that has been dominant for the majority of the 12 quarters that has been played so far. Gilman and Tranquill continue to be stars on that defense, that is playing so well together. Josh and Tony talk about how that defense has made the Irish who they are, in this short season.
This Saturday (September 22nd) at noon, the Irish will play they’re first away game of the season against Wake Forest. While that game is on ABC this week, Tony and Josh talk about what the meaning of a “trap game” is for the wonderful listeners. The guys discuss the keys to the game as they give their predictions as well.
“Three Toughest Picks” didn’t get any better for Josh (what’s new?) and yet they still continue to have the segment in their show!!! Tony and Josh did want to thank all of the followers and fans of the “Irish Football Weekly” Facebook page as there has been some awesome discussions with those involved. So….thank you!!!!
Thanks for listening to “Irish Football Weekly”!
Go Irish! Peace!
