Welcome back Irish listeners!
Josh and Tony give us the first show of the 2018 season for our Notre Dame Irish football team!!!! They begin their show with the Irish and the rivalry with their first opponent, the Michigan Wolverines. The Irish host the Wolverines this Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium with the game beginning at 7:30p.m. Tony shares some memories of his Irish playing days and throws a small fun fact about him against those Michigan Wolverines.
The guys go through the positions groups for offense and defense and you can definitely tell one side of the ball could have the advantage after listening to Josh and Tony’s conversation. Experience is always a great thing, but will the younger players step up right away?
There were a few coaches changes on both sides of the ball, but Tony discusses Coach Kelly’s previous hires and the impact of them on the Irish program.
The “Three Toughest Picks” and “Irish Prediction” segments are always a great time with these two guys. There are several games this opening weekend that will determine some teams fate, including our Irish. Josh and Tony do have some similar thoughts on Saturday’s game and for our sake, we hope they are true.
