Cheers to another week of Irish Football Weekly!!!
Josh flies solo this week and talks, and talks, and talks!!! What he did say, might have you excited and worried about the Irish at the same time.
The Irish did play well against #7 Stanford, but there was room for improvement. Josh talks about that offense which is rolling with Ian Book at quarterback. Dexter Williams comes back and delivers a great performance for the home crowd. As Josh talks about the defense, one player in particular stands out and in a big way! Overall, the defense played well and had others step up to hold Stanford and a Heisman hopeful to 17 points.
Our Irish will go into Blacksburg, Virginia this Saturday, October 6th to take on the #24 ranked Hokies with an 8p.m. start and can be watched on ABC. The Hokies have something to prove and will give their best effort to knock off the Irish this Saturday. Virginia Tech is lead by a great coach, they have some weapons on offense that are “under the radar”, and their defense is one of the best rushing defenses in the nation. Josh explains how the Irish can go into a hostile environment and come out victorious.
In “Three Toughest Picks”, Josh brags the whole time because he has done something that he has never done before….which is….win!
Thanks for listening to our show! Go Irish! Peace!
