Welcome back Irish fans!
Josh and Tony dive in and talk about the 24-17 Irish win over the rival Wolverines. The upcoming game for the Irish is another home game against Ball State at 3:30 p.m. on September 8th.
The offense came ready to play in the first half. Tony was impressed with the offensive unit. Josh discussed the surprise position groups that made a positive impact for the Irish offense. Will this group make them a contender? How will the offensive unit respond in game 2 after a different second half against Michigan?
The defense showed a very strong promise for all of us fans. They played fast, as a unit, and consistent. How can the defense get better? Josh mentions some impressive performances by some of those defensive starters. Tony raves over that Irish defensive performance and gives props to all that had a hand in that group.
The special teams needs to continue to get better as there were several errors by them. Coach Polian will get it straightened out and make sure those mistakes won’t happen again. The mistakes made are definitely able to be corrected, but could have those cost them the game? Possibly… Fortunately for the Irish, the whole team played together and helped the team win the game.
Josh and Tony share their thoughts about the upcoming game against Ball State. This game will hopefully give all of the different units some confidence and play even more as a team.
“Three Toughest Picks” did not go well for the guys in week 1. That’s all that we need to say at this point😀 They will make their picks and hopefully rebound after a rough first week.
“Irish Prediction” segment will hopefully make all of the Irish fans happy and hopeful for this week’s game.
GO IRISH! PEACE!
