What’s going on in the world of the Big Ten? Well, men’s and women’s lacrosse, baseball and softball for starters. Kevin and Troy start the podcast running through the latest on those sports and then get into what’s coming for next season’s basketball season.
The news came out earlier, but for the 2018-19 season, the Big Ten will play a 20-game conference schedule, meaning roughly a 12-game non-conference schedule. The Big Ten is the first conference to implement a 20-game in-conference basketball schedule and the ACC is following in 2019-20.
Should it stay at 20? Is the Big Ten trying to play too many in-conference games? Or, do the youngster and old man think every team should be everybody twice in conference, leading to a 26-game Big Ten schedule? Listen to this week’s show for that and some intriguing Ohio State football news to end this week’s episode.
