March Madness is finally here, folks! The Big Ten Tournament concluded and Illinois won that and garnered a No. 1 seed for the NCAA Tournament as its prize. Michigan, too, got a No. 1 seed. Seven other B1G teams are going dancing this year, making it a record (9) for the best conference in the country.
It’s also the first time a conference has gotten two 1-seeds and two 2-seeds into the tournament, as both Iowa and Ohio State received 2-seeds. Kevin and Troy put a bow on the B1G Tourney before getting into the West Region, which features No. 1 Gonzaga and 2-seeded Iowa. Can the Hawkeyes make a run at the Elite 8 for a potential rematch with Gonzaga?
The youngster and old man talk about Iowa’s path — as it is the lone B1G team in this region — and what it has to do to potentially meet up with Gonzaga again. If the Hawkeyes do get there, can they give Gonzaga its first loss of the season? The duo goes over all of that and more on this show, but be sure to keep an eye on more shows each and every day this week as Kevin and Troy break down one region each day and what B1G teams’ paths look like.
