What’s new in the world of the Big Ten? Well, nothing good. To be fair, there is some good that has come from the last week. Recruits making verbal commitments, and, well, not much else. On this week’s episode of Go B1G or Go Home, Kevin and Troy talk about recent NCAA guidelines that have been sent forth to help navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic to help fall sports return.
Will it happen, though? As long as the pandemic keeps getting worse, there will be no fall sports. That’s just the reality. The youngster and old man talk about that as well as the possibility of football being played in the spring on this week’s show. Oh, and multiple B1G teams have had student-athletes test positive for the disease over the last week. Indiana had to put its voluntary workouts on pause. As you can probably tell, this show wasn’t an overly cheerful one.
