The day after the Super Bowl has to lead to at least some talk about the biggest NFL game of the year… right? Not on this show. Go B1G or Go Home stays strictly within the Big Ten, unless Kevin and Troy start branching off and get a bit off-topic. Sometimes, that happens.
On this episode, however, the youngster and old man go through the newest AP Top 25 Poll, the current Big Ten standings and then give a little more in-depth look at teams like Purdue and Michigan State toward the top of the conference.
Then, the bulk of the show is taken up by talk regarding the middle of the Big Ten. How are teams currently sitting No. 5 through No. 9 of the conference looking? If all goes wrong, could the Big Ten only get four teams into the NCAA Tournament? That may be possible, despite having a couple potential national title-worthy winners in the Boilermakers and Spartans.
