This past week in the world of Big Ten basketball was interesting, as it always is, but on Go B1G or Go Home, Kevin and Troy don’t always talk about the fluffy stuff going on in sports. Sometimes, what’s going on in the world outside of athletics directly is more important. On this week’s show, the youngster and old man talk for the first 40 minutes about what is happening with Larry Nassar-Michigan State University.
The fallout from the dozens of tragic and unfortunate realities that took place almost seems likely to be devastating for the Michigan State program as a whole and Kevin and Troy get into that to start the show. After talking about potentially what all of this means for the university and Tom Izzo, the duo discusses Big Ten basketball for the remainder of the show.
How many teams should get into the NCAA Tournament from this conference? Is Nebraska for real? Is Penn State now in bubble talk with a win over previously unbeaten Ohio State? And, of course, Purdue just keeps chugging along. All of that and more can be heard on this week’s episode from the youngster and old man.
