The world of college basketball has been turned upside-down recently thanks to reports of players getting paid by a number of different people, which is of course, against NCAA rules. Both Kevin and Troy dive into the latest scandal in college basketball for the first 30 minutes of the show before breaking things down in the Big Ten.
After that first half hour, the youngster and old man go into what the NCAA Tournament picture looks like for the Big Ten conference as a whole and then they discuss how the Big Ten Tournament – being played from Feb. 28 to March 4 – will shake out. It’s being played one week earlier this year and will be at Madison Square Garden. Is that a good thing?
Will this be too much rest for the Big Ten teams? Who wins the Big Ten Tournament? Kevin and Troy go through the entire tournament, picking each game quickly to wrap up a longer, full packed show for this week’s ‘Go B1G or Go Home’.
