Join Matt Andruscavage and former 49ers running back Dexter Carter as they review the first half of the season that features San Francisco as the league’s only undefeated team at 8-0. After demolishing Carolina 51-13 and edging out Arizona on a short week 28-25, the 49ers will face off against the Seattle Seahawks in an all-important divisional game.
The good news for the 49ers is that after playing several weeks with their fourth and fifth offensive tackles, they will be getting both Joe Staley and Mike McGlinchey back on Monday. Also returning is the best fullback in the NFL, Kyle Juszczyk. Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon is still an unknown at this point, but he has been doing drills at practice, but on the sideline, so we’ll see.
These returns are like a few big midseason trades and should make the offense even more potent than it is.
Against Seattle, the 49ers have a chance to take full control of the division and make another statement. Seattle has won 9 of their last 10 regular season games against the 49ers, so until they beat Seattle, the Seahawks are the team to beat in the division. That being said, this 49ers team is ready to roll and it should be terrific game to watch.
