This Monday night, the 49ers host the New York Giants. While there is a lot of history between the two teams, 2018 hasn’t been very kind to either.
The 49ers (2-7) looked good against the hapless Raiders last week and while it was fun, it’s hardly credible evidence that they will play that well the rest of the way. This game, however, may provide Mullens and the rest of the team some needed confidence to build upon as they head into the last part of the season.
