Since he took the lead of the Real Madrid club in 2000, Florentino Perez has always shown that he is a very ambitious leader. In that respect, he does not hesitate to take out the checkbook for offering the best to his club. That is noticeable through high amounts transfers ever recorded till date, with the arrivals of Luiz Figo (in 2000), Zinédine Zidane (in 2001), and Cristiano Ronaldo (in 2009 ). After the first two generations of players called the galactics, launched respectively in 2000 and in 2009 which allowed the club to win major cups, including 05 European Champions Leagues. Perez is preparing another large-scale operation this time touching several aspects of the club.

The new stadium

Real Madrid will have an ultra-modern stadium that does not exist anywhere else. The Santiago Bernabéu stadium will have a new face. The rehabilitation project of this stadium has entered its active phase for a few months now with a delivery deadline announced for 2022. It shall cost the Merengues the sum of 575 million Euros. It’s a project being in the pipe since 2009, dear to Perez’s heart. The renovation should allow the stadium to have a removable and retractable roof in 15 minutes’ time and a new museum. It is estimated that the new Bernabéu will allow the club to earn an additional 150 million Euros a year. With the revamped Bernabéu, Real Madrid aims to become the first club to cross the bar of one billion euros per year in terms of turnover.

A new workforce

This current generation of Real Madrid has won everything and seems to be no longer starving. As some beneficiaries of Sportsbook promo offers.

Several players are at the exit door. We think in particular of Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric, Marcelo or Gareth Bale. So there has to be a renewal. And that, Florentino Perez thought about it. He first wanted a new team with Neymar Jr as the headliner in the summer of 2018. However, certain circumstances led him to review his plans. Notwithstanding, since 2017, he has started a workforce rejuvenation policy. This is explained by the arrival of young shoots like Marco Asensio, TakefusaKubo, Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard. Brazil occupies a prominent place in this policy through these young talents. First there was Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes recruited in 2017, then Eder Militao in 2019. They were joined by Reinier from Flamengo last February. For the summer of 2021, in addition to some sports bets sites, Spanish journalists are announcing Real Madrid’s interest for  : Kylian M’bappé and Herling BrautHaaland. The whites hope to align a trio of strikers composed of these two prodigies and Eden Hasard.

The technical staff

The boss of the Real wants a future team with great potential, able to produce beautiful game. For so doing, there is a coach he is intending to recruit. And he’s been trying to “seduce” him for few years now. Mauricio Pochettino, former coach of Tottenham is the one we speak about. Perez highly appreciated the way he was able to assemble his team and how he successfully managed to raise his team amongst  the top leaders of the English Premier League, despite the absence of stars players. There is also his game strategy which charms the Madrid leader. He thought about him as a successor to  Zinedine Zidane last 2018. Unfortunately the renewal of his contract with the London club was an obstacle at that time. The situation has now changed because the technician from Argentina  has been free of any contract since October 2019. Already last March, the Merengue’s leaders had engaged discussions with his entourage. He should be able to take the technical lead of the Real team from 2021. It has to be noted also that Zidane is possibly expected at Juventus Turin.

So it’s a new chapter in its history that Real Madrid plans to open from next year.
