Terrance Williams: No second thoughts taking less cash to remain with Cowboys

Terrance Williams had more grounded offers when he hit the free-agent market interestingly prior to this offseason, however, he chose to remain with the Dallas Cowboys.

Williams marked a four-year, $17 million contract with $9.5 million ensured at an early stage in free agency, and has no second thoughts about his choice.

Williams, a Dallas local who played at Baylor, remains known around the community and within his own team, in which he is a very good look for the Cowboys as a whole.

Loyalty

“It simply wasn’t about cash to me,” Williams said of his free agency. “There was a considerable measure of cash I could have taken, yet it’s quite recently the general population. The folks I stick around with in my locker room and afterward the mentors that I have. That is a greater sticker price on it for me than cash.”

Williams, who joined the Cowboys as a third-round pick in 2013, felt faithful to owner Jerry Jones and his kindred partners. He particularly mentioned top receiver Dez Bryant as a reason why he returned for less cash.

Williams is additionally acquainted with the offense, filling in as the No. 2 receiver. To give background on Williams, he has had 44 catches for 594 yards and four touchdowns last season. His greatest year came in 2015, when he set professional highs in receptions (52) and yards (840).

What can you say? The man is a complete beast on the field and Cowboy fans are excited to see what’s in store for this upcoming season.
