As we near the end of the 2016 NFC season, I thought today would look at every team’s final 5 games, and see who looks best set up to make a playoff run. We will look at the AFC by the end of the week. We will only be breaking down playoff contenders in this article.
NFC North
Green Bay Packers(5-6)
The Packers are a team dealing with injury issues, but they still have one of the best QB’s in the game in Aaron Rodgers. As long as Rodgers is under center they have a shot.
Houston Texans-Win
Seattle-Loss
@Chicago-Win
Minnesota-Win
@Detroit-Loss
Like the Packers injuries have killed a hot Vikings team, they are still strong enough on defense to win this division, though.
Dallas-Loss
@Jacksonville-Win
Indianapolis-Win
@Green Bay-Loss
Chicago-Win
The Lions have been one of this year’s surprise teams. Need to play better away from home.
@New Orleans-Loss
Chicago-Win
@New York Giants-Loss
@Dallas-Loss
Green Bay-Win
NFC South
New Orleans Saints(5-6)
Detroit Lions-Win
@Tampa Bay-Loss
@Arizona-Win
Tampa Bay-Win
@Atlanta-Loss
The Bucs have been a surprise this year, let some games get away that they should have won earlier in the season.
@San Diego-Loss
New Orleans-Win
@Dallas-Loss
@New Orleans-Loss
Carolina-Win
The Falcons are a huge threat to anyone they play. Great on offense and steadily improving on defense.
Kansas City-Win
Rams-Win
49ers-Win
@Carolina-Win
New Orleans Saints-Win
NFC West
Seattle Seahawks(7-3-1)
Once again one of the best teams in football. The question is can the offensive line hold up?
Carolina-Win
@Green Bay-Win
Rams-Win
Arizona-Win
49ers-Win
NFC East
Dallas Cowboys
Maybe the best team in football right now. Led by a dominating offensive line and two sensational rookies.
@Minnesota-Win
@New York Giants-Loss
Tampa Bay-Win
Detroit-Win
@Philadelphia-Win
Eli Manning is having a great year when you consider the offensive line is not very good and they have no running game.
@Pittsburgh-Loss
Dallas-Win
Detroit-Win
@Philadelpia-Win
@Washington-Loss
Kirk Cousins is having an amazing season, this team has offensive weapons all over the place. Can the defense step up so they can beat the top teams in the playoffs?
@Arizona-Win
@Philadelphia-Win
Carolina-Win
@Chicago-Win
New York Giants-Win
