). Tom Brady, New England Patriots- If Brady had played the first four games this would not even be in question. To me this is not in question Brady has thrown 22 touchdown passes compared to two interceptions and has a QBR of 113.6. Plus he is the best player on the best team, right now he has to be way ahead in this race.
). Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons- Ryan has been awesome all season, he has already thrown for over 4,000 yards with 30 TD passes and seven interceptions. He has guided the Falcons into position to win the NFC South.
). Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions- Stafford has been the king of the fourth quarter comeback this year. Nobody expected much from the Lions after Calvin Johnson’s sudden retirement, but Stafford has been a better QB without him. He has made everybody around him better this season.
). Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys- Sure he plays behind the best offensive line in the NFL, but Elliott’s season so far has been off the charts. He has scored 12 TD’s and averaged 4.9 yards per carry. The addition of Elliott is one of the biggest reasons the Cowboys are Super Bowl Contenders.
). Le’Veon Bell, Pittsburgh Steelers- The return of Bell has been huge for the Steelers. For my money, he is the best running back in the NFL and if he stays healthy the Steelers are a legit Super Bowl contender.
). Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders- Carr was in my top 3 until last week’s disaster in Kansas City. Hopefully, his hand heals quickly, because he has been a break-out player this year.
). Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys- Much like Carr, last Sunday night’s game in New York probably cost him his shot at MVP.
). Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers- Rodgers is in a groove, so I expect him to climb this list at a very fastΒ pace over the last three games of the season.
