). The Oakland Raiders are for real- The Raiders battled back on the road to defeat the Buccaneers in OT. Derek Carr is fast becoming one of the best QB’s in the NFL and Amari Cooper is a monster. More importantly, it seems that this team is developing the poise to stay in games when things are going wrong. The Raiders ARE BACK!
). The Patriots are the best team in the NFL- Tom Brady is still the best QB in this league, throw in an improved defense from last year, and the Patriots have to be the odds-on favorites to win it all.
). Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan are very good- I think we already knew this, but their performances on Sunday were great theater. The only downside is I do not believe either possess the defense necessary to win a Super Bowl.
). Dak Prescott and the Cowboys are a threat- Prescott after a slow start, came on to lead a game-tying drive and then a game-winning drive in OT. The Cowboys have a devastating offensive line, and with Prescott and Elliot, they are very good offensively. The defense is much improved from last year and this team will be in contention all year.
). The Cardinals have gotten bad very quickly- It is time for people to quick talking about how good of a team the Cardinals. The facts are starting with last year’s NFC Championship loss to Carolina last year up to the latest loss in Carolina, the Cardinals are not that good.
). The NFL should not play games in London- The Cincinnati Bengals have sold out every game for almost 5 years, the NFL rewards them by taking away a home game. The NFL playing regular season games in London is a slap in the face to fans, who lose a home game that they have to get up early in the morning to watch. Of course, nobody has ever claimed the NFL cares about the fans.
). The Jaguars color rush uniforms should be buried- the only thing worse than the way the Jaguars played on Thursday night was what they wore.
