The Houston Texans enter this playoff game getting no respect anywhere around the NFL. You often hear fans say this is a bad football team. I do NOT think this is a bad football team; they have an excellent defense, a solid running game, and good receivers. What they lack is a QB, Brock Osweiler is not the answer, and they wasted 72 million dollars because they thought he was. Do the Texans have a chance in this game? No, they don’t, the New England Patriots will make quick work of them. If they had an NFL QB, the Texans would be capable of beating any team, but they don’t.
Houston Texans- The Texans defensively are as good as any team in the NFL. Clowney has played great this year and can dominate a game. The Linebackers led by Whitney Mercilous and Brian Cushing are studs; The secondary is top notch ked by veteran Jonathon Joesph. On offense, the return of Lamar Miller makes them a threat running the ball, but it still all falls on the 72 million dollar man Brock Osweiler’s shoulders. It would take a massive effort by Osweiler to win this game, and I do not think he is capable.
New England Patriots- The Patriots are a complete team, and the addition of WR Michael Floyd may be the thing that puts this team over the top. Tom Brady 28TD’s and two int’s, the running game is solid, and the offensive line is better than it was last year. On Defense, they have gradually gotten better as the season has progressed.
The Texans have to pressure Brady- With the front seven the Texans should be able to pressure Brady if they don’t this game is over in the first half.
The Texans can not turn the ball over- With Osweiler in charge of this offense, I don’t see this happening. If he can take care of the ball and eliminate turnovers the Texans would have a chance.
The Texans will turn the ball over, and the Patriots will take advantage, early and often. Patriots 38 Texans 10
