For the Pittsburgh Steelers, Big Ben is Ready for 2017
I love being out here. football is a passion of mine
Day one of the organized team activities kicked off, and leading the charge was 14-year veteran Ben Roethlisberger.
Roethlisberger – “Football is a passion of mine”
Coming off a solid season tossing 29 TDs and earning a 95.4 QB rating, it wasn’t guaranteed that Roethlisberger was going to return. Luckily, despite contemplating retirement, the fire and desire still burns deep within him. Roethlisberger took the time after practice to talk with reporters and offer his thoughts.
Good to get back out here. I’m here on day one, you see me out there taking every rep i’m supposed to take and then some.
During his end of season press conference Roethlisberger alluded to needing to consider retirement and also questioned some of the play-calls in the AFC Championship game. When faced with questions about it, Roethlisberger would have none of it.
I’m 110% committed like I Said I was. It doesn’t Matter, I’m here now.
