-ESPN’s Josina Anderson is reporting the Seahawks “still want a really high price” for S Earl Thomas. Thomas wants out of town or a long-term extension and is not expected to report to the start of camp.
-ESPN’s Josina Anderson is reporting that the Los Angeles Chargers prefer TE Antonio Gates to re-sign with the team prior to the start of training camp
-Seahawks HC Pete Carroll told the press that WR Brandon Marshall is not a lock to make the team’s final 53-man roster
-Redskins RB Chris Thompson will not open training camp on the PUP list.
-The Patriots have placed WR Kenny Britt (hamstring) on the PUP list ahead of the start of training camp with a tweaked hamstring suffered at minicamp, but he is not expected to be out for long
-The Cardinals have placed TE Jermaine Gresham (Achilles) on the PUP list with an Achilles injury suffered in Week 17 of the 2017 season
-NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero is reporting the Patriots are shopping WR Malcolm Mitchell
-NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting Bills RB LeSean McCoy will report to the start of training camp on Wednesday
-NFL Network’s Kim Jones is reporting Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. will report to the start of training camp on Wednesday
-NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero is reporting Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon will not report to the start of training camp, but he is “absolutely not suspended.”
-Kansas City Chiefs HC Andy Reid told the press RB Spencer Ware (knee) expects to report to the start of training camp
-The Chicago Tribune reports Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky’s performance in early camp could “best be described as inconsistent.”
-New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley has signed a four-year $31.2 million with $20.76 million in guaranteed money
-Baltimore Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley is reporting QB Joe Flacco has shown improved -mobility in the early portion of training camp
-Ravens OC Marty Mornhinweg told the press QB Lamar Jackson is “way ahead of the curve”
-Chicago Bears HC Matt Nagy is confident that RB Jordan Howard is an “every-down” rusher
-Denver Broncos beat writer Mike Klis expects RB Devontae Booker to emerge as the team’s Week 1 RB1
