2017 Possible Draft Night Surprises The Browns take Trubisky at Number 1, Steelers Draft a QB

The NFL Draft is always one thing, and that thing is unpredictable. This year is one of the most unpredictable in NFL history, so I thought maybe it was a good time to look at some surprises they may shock some people, so let’s get the crystal ball out and give it a go.

1). The Browns Take Mitch Trubisky number 1- The Browns shock everybody and pass on Myles Garrett. But, is it a surprise if the Browns do something stupid. If nothing else I look for them to trade number 12 for the Titans number five pick and get Trubisky at that spot. The wild card seems to be if the 49ers or Bears might take Trubisky.

2). John Ross Drops- Injury concerns are killing Ross draft stock, and he looks like a late first to early second round pick. I will say this though, every team that passes him up will regret it.

3). Christian McCaffrey will be selected by the Chargers- What McCaffrey would add to Phillip Rivers and the Chargers offense may make the Chargers an immediate contender.

4). Forrest Lamp will be the first Offensive Lineman selected in this draft- Lamp is a versatile, strong, athletic lineman who will be a mainstay for a decade wherever he ends up.

5). Dalvin Cook Drops- Cook will go late first-early second round. Teams have questions about the company he keeps off the field.

6) Adoree Jackson goes mid-late first round- A lot of mock drafts have him being selected in the second round, but this player is a game changer on defense and special teams!

7). Jarrad Davis goes in the first round- Davis has been climbing some teams draft boards, and one of the reasons is the fact that he is a high character guy on top of being an excellent player.

8). The Steelers draft a QB in the first round- Don’t be surprised if they go after Patrick Mahomes at the end of the first round. Big Ben isn’t getting any younger, and he is starting to publicly talk about retirement.
