32) Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars are wrong. Are they bad enough to get the number one pick? They sure are!
The Falcons have yet to be competitive in a game this season.
The Jets are bad; quarterback Zack Wilson has been bad but does the fault lie at his feet?
The Texans have been competitive so far this season, but it looks like Davis Mills will be starting the next game for the Texans.
This ranking tells you just how bad the bad teams are in the NFL. The Lions are terrible, and so far, four teams have been worse than them!
The Giants Daniel Jones played well in last Thursday night’s loss to Washington. The Giants lost because they jumped off-side on a game-winning field goal attempt that was missed. However, Daniel Jones has not been the issue thus far.
The Vikings could easily be 2-0, so not all lost for the season, especially since nobody looks that great in the NFC North.
The Bengals played well in Chicago but couldn’t overcome three straight interceptions by Joe Burrow.
The bears got a win, and the defense looked solid after the week one debacle.
The Colts cannot afford another loss this coming weekend in Tennessee, as 0-3 would be very hard to overcome.
The 49ers defense shut down Jalen Hurts and the Eagles playmakers. However, week one may have been an aberration as the Falcons defense is terrible.
Washington got a close win over the Giants, which is great, but the big question has to be when will the Redskins defense show up?
The Packers defense still seems to be an issue, and the offense has not been as expected yet. So plenty of concerns are still with the Packers, and a trip to the 49ers does not look promising as of right now.
So which Jameis Winston is the real Jameis Winston? I would say everything we have saw in the first two weeks is Jameis Winston. Consistency has always been his issue; injuries are hurting the Saints right now.
The Dolphins lost Tua after just four pass attempts due to injured ribs, making it hard to get an accurate read on where this team stands. However, a week three matchup with the Raiders should answer some of those questions.
Justin herbert’s two interceptions were killers, and the one in the red zone is a turnover that a Quarterback in the NFL can afford to make if they want to win a game.
The defense has been outstanding, and quarterback Mac Jones has been consistent and efficient. I would like to see Belichick take the reigns off of Jones and let him throw downfield a little more. If Jones can do that, the Patriots can make the playoffs.
I think this team is better than 15th, but they will be a little more one-dimensional on offense with Landry and Beckham out.
The Steelers are in trouble; I think what we saw this week is more like what the Steelers are.
The Bills loss in week 1 to the Steelers was more of a fluke than anything else. However, the 35-0 win over Miami was without the Miami starting quarterback for most of the game, so with that being said, the jury is still out on Buffalo.
Lamar Jackson is Superman, and while the win over the Chiefs was impressive, the concerns for Baltimore on defense are accurate, and the injuries will be too much to overcome.
The Titans got a significant win on the road in Seattle and looked like the team they’re expected to be this season.
If you are a Cowboys fan, you had to dread two straight road games to begin the season. A split has to make Cowboys fans feel good about their team’s chances this season. The Cowboys now bust a franchise quarterback, a two-headed monster in the offensive backfield, and an improved defense.
The Panthers defense is legit, and Sam Darnold has found a home. As a result, the Panthers will be a playoff team.
Seattle lost a close game at home to the Titans, and the secondary play has to be of significant concern.
Teddy Bridgewater has been consistently good, and the defense has been as advertised. If Bridgewater continues to play at this pace the rest of the season, things could get very interesting in Denver this season.
Derek Carr has been the most underrated quarterback in the league for a few years now, and if he keeps playing at the pace he is now, the Raiders will make a serious run at the playoffs.
The Chiefs have huge issues on defense! The offense will continue to score, but this season will be more difficult than expected for the Chiefs. Don’t get me wrong, the Chiefs, as of right now, would be my favorite to win the AFC, but the defensive issues signal danger up ahead as this season goes on.
Kyler Murray made a few mistakes this past week, but he is playing about as well asย anybody in the league at this moment.
The 49ers are good on both sides of the ball, and Jimmy G. is healthy. If he stays healthy, I expect the Niners to stay in the top 5 all season.
The Rams are loaded at receiver, and Matthew Stafford is throwing the ball; running back injuries are a concern, but this offense is loaded.
Tom Brady threw 5 TD passes against the Atlanta Falcons. What Tom Brady is in the process of doing is something that none of us will ever see again.
