The Panthers became a lot more explosive on offense by adding do-it-all running back Christian McCaffrey and Ohio State wide receiver Curtis Samuels. Both men are hybrid playmakers and will cause any defense they face headaches. The Panthers could jump back into contention if the offensive line plays well.
The Bengals’ offense lacked speed last year on offense and the 2017 Draft should be the remedy for that problem. The Bengals drafted WR John Ross out of Washington and in the second round picked up RB Joe Mixon. Those two players combined will make this an explosive offense especially when you consider Ross’ speed in the slot and A.J. Green out on the perimeter. Hey, we didn’t even mention play-making TE Tyler Eifert, this offense will be explosive. On defense, the addition of Carl Lawson will make a huge impact on the Bengals defensive line and don’t forget they will also add last years 4th round pick Andrew Billings to that defensive line also.
The Bucs were a team on the verge last year and the 2017 Draft may just push them over the top. A young Quarterback’s best friend is a play-making tight end and in O.J. Howard, Jameis Winston may have found his new best friend. WR Chris Goodwin out of Penn State is an underrated addition that will make the Bucs passing game even more dangerous than it already is. On defense the addition of Kendall Beckwith and Justin Evans will give the Bucs the chance to improve quickly on the defensive side of the ball. Evans will thrive as a safety in the Bucs’ zone heavy scheme, he has great awareness and the ability to cover a lot of ground in a hurry. Beckwith is an old school linebacker who will help the Bucs to become more physical at the point of attack.
The Titans had a great draft last year, strengthening the offensive line and this year, they added playmakers on both sides of the ball. On defense, Adoree Jackson will strengthen the secondary, but will also give the Titans an explosive special teams player as well. On the offensive, side they picked up WR Corey Davis and TE Jonnu Smith will allow the Titans to open up the offense for QB Marcus Mariota.
A very good roster just got better in Jacksonville with the 2017 NFL Draft. The Jaguars are looking to make life a lot easier on QB Blake Bortles by giving him Leonard Fournette to run the ball. Oklahoma WR DeDe Westbrook will add another weapon to Bortles arsenal and offensive tackle Cam Robinson to try to keep Bortles in an upright position.
