Don Shula: A Biography of the Winningest Coach in NFL History is a new book that will be released in the next few weeks and today on the DolphinsTalk.com Podcast we have the author of that book Carlo DeVito for over an hour to talk about all things Don Shula. We learn about Shula’s upbringing and early years, his time as the defensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions and as the head coach of the Baltimore Colts. Why he left Baltimore and his public feuds with Johnny Unitas and Colts Owner Carroll Rosenbloom. As well as how he landed in Miami, the success he had early in Miami, and of course the Marino years and his retirement.
