It’s playoff time in the CFL and these playoffs have some compelling story-lines. Can BC win one for Wally? Can the Stamps get back on track? Will the Bombers stay hot? Are the Riders ready to make a serious run? I am not ranking the three teams that did not make the playoffs, so let’s just call the Eskimos number seven and the Alouettes and Argos tied for last.

1) Winnipeg Blue Bombers

The Bombers lost a meaningless game to Edmonton but for the 5 weeks before that, they put up some amazing numbers and look poised to be a tough out for anybody in the playoffs but travelling to Saskatchewan is about is tough as it gets here.

2) Saskatchewan Roughriders

The Riders got a bye week at the perfect moment to give quarterback Zach Collaros time to heal. If Collaros is healthy the Riders could bring the Grey Cup home. The toughest test they may face could be Winnipeg this weekend.

3) Ottawa Redblacks

The Redblacks have been all over the place this season but these past few weeks they have played up to their potential and with home-field advantage, they could very well find themselves playing for a ring in a few weeks.

4) Calgary Stampeders

The Stamps looked like your runaway champion this year until a little over a month ago when the bottom dropped out. Can they get it together at playoff time? I wouldn’t bet against them but they look vulnerable at the moment.

5) Hamilton Ti-Cats

The Ti-Cats are another team that has been inconsistent this year, but I do think they will win this weekend. After that they will be in trouble.

6) BC Lions

Six weeks ago the Lions being in the playoffs looked like a long shot but here they are. Now staying in the playoffs looks to be a long shot, but you never know.
