Coming off a 20-16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on the road and a bye week, the 3-2 Buffalo Bills are back in Orchard Park to take on the 2-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Here’s what to watch out for this week:

1) Winston is in

There was a question of whether or not Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston would start against the Bills due to his shoulder injury in Game 6 against the Cardinals. It was confirmed on Friday that he would in fact start.

Per Football Focus, Winston was graded with the highest average depth of throw ahead of DeShaun Watson and Tom Brady. This is something that the Bills defense will need to contain epecially when it comes to covering star wideout Mike Evans. Rookie cornerback TreDavious White has been progressing nicely and all eyes will be on him to make the necessary pass breakups when it comes to the deep ball targets. He will need to make a strong case as to why he should be nominated for Defensive Rookie of the Year.

2) It’s Always Shady in Buffalo?

Bills superstar running back LeSean McCoy is way overdue for a touchdown since its already week seven. To put things into perspective, last year McCoy had a total of seven touchdowns punched in by this time. Shady is well aware of the need to spark a running game. With all that rest from the bye week, he should be fired up all on cylinders

3) Passing Game, Pretty Please

Much like the running game, the Bills need to get the passing game going as well. Tampa Bay’s defense is ranked 31st against the pass and 30th in overall defense. The Bills offense must capitalize on this in order to defend their home turf and get their record to 4-2.

Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor’s right-hand man, Tight End Charles Clay, is unavailable due to a knee injury against the Bengals and will be out for a few weeks. It’s time for Nick O’Leary and Logan Thomas to step up to the plate in his absence.
