1) The Patriots look fine if they are playing the Bengals
Let me state from the start that I am not one of these people that thinks the Patriots’ dynasty has come to an end. But, with that being said, I am not blind either and the Patriots have not looked right this season. However, all is well when you play the Cincinnati Bengals! I still have big questions about the offensive line and the receivers but Tom Brady is just fine if you give him time. So, I know it was just the Bengals but don’t write off the Patriots just yet.
With all the talk of Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes etc., it seems that Watson flies under the radar more often than not and he really shouldn’t. The Texans have a shot at the Super Bowl as long as Watson is under center because he is as good and maybe better than all the young quarterbacks in the NFL.
Carson Wentz played great on Sunday and the Eagles look to setup a home game against Dallas and therefore have a really good shot at taking the division. I know the record is ugly, but when you look at the injuries this team has had to battle, it is amazing that they still have a shot even though the division is atrocious.
Who knows by now? It’s obvious the Cowboys have immense talent but I still think in the end coaching will be their downfall, as it always is. The performance against the Rams will lead Cowboys fans to proclaim again that they are Super Bowl contenders, but they really aren’t.
They lost Dalvin Cook and still dominated the Chargers. The Vikings are a well-coached team and the questions about Kirk Cousins seem to dissipate with each passing game. Dalvin Cook is a big concern though because I think with Cook they are a real Super Bowl threat.
The Bills are a real contender and for the second time in three years, the Bills will be headed to the playoffs. McDermott’s teams are disciplined and play hard for him and he is a coach that coaches to win the game and he is not afraid to take chances and the chances he takes are solid chances.
