TGTN College Football Top 25 Week 2

1) Alabama Crimson Tide

The Tide rolled over Louisville with ease and look to be poised to make another championship run.

2) Clemson Tigers

The Tigers dominated a lesser opponent but look like they may have a quarterback controversy brewing.

3) Georgia Bulldogs

Georgia smacked Austin Peay in the mouth, just like expected.

4) Ohio State Buckeyes

The Buckeyes offense looked devastating, scoring 77 points on Oregon State. The defense, on the other hand, gave up 31 points and was far from impressive.

5) Auburn Tigers

Auburn won a nip and tuck battle with a very good Washington Huskies team and look ready to challenge for a playoff berth.

6) Oklahoma Sooners

It was expected that the Sooners would score a lot of points against Florida Atlantic; what was not expected was giving up just 14 points.

7) Wisconsin Badgers

The Badgers bludgeoned the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers 34-3, as expected.

8) Notre Dame Fighting Irish

The Irish beat Michigan 24-17, but the game was not as close as the score would indicate.

9) Washington Huskies

The Huskies did not hurt themselves by going toe to toe with one of the top teams in the country. The biggest question now will be is the Pac 12 good enough that if the Huskies can run the table in the conference will that be enough to get them in the playoffs?

10) Penn State Nittany Lions

They were really lucky to escape against App state. Trace McSorley showed that as long as he is at the helm for the Nittany Lions they are never out of it.

11) West Virginia Mountaineers

The Mountaineers destroyed the Tennessee Volunteers and left no doubt. The Mountaineers will challenge the Sooners for Big 12 supremacy.

12) TCU Horned Frogs

Southern was no match for the Frogs.

13) Stanford Cardinal

Stanford beat a good San Diego State Aztecs team.

14) LSU Tigers

The Tigers easily dispatched of the Miami Hurricanes.

15) USC Trojans

The Trojans handled UNLV as expected.

16) Virginia Tech Hokies

The Hokies had no problem beating the Seminoles.

17) Michigan State Spartans

The Spartans had their hands full hosting Utah State. I do think in the end people will find out that Utah State is better than what people think.

18) Mississippi State Bulldogs

SF Austin is not a serious gauge of how good a team is, but the Bulldogs seem on the right track.

19) Boise State Broncos

The Broncos are poised to make a Central Florida type run this season.

20) Central Florida Knights

The Knights won easily at Connecticut.

21) Michigan Wolverines

The score was much closer than the game was this past week at Notre Dame.

22) Miami Hurricanes

The Canes saved a little face with a couple of late touchdowns in this game, but make no mistake about it, LSU dominated them.

23) Oregon Ducks

The Ducks easily took care of Bowling Green.

24) Florida Gators

Florida, with an easy early schedule, could very well break into the top 20 soon.

25) South Carolina Gamecocks

The Cocks have a huge game on Saturday as they host number 3 ranked Georgia.
