Β
). Clemson Tigers- The Tigers won maybe the greatest College football game I have ever seen. Maybe LamarΒ Jackson should give the Heisman to Deshaun Watson. Watson is the best player in College Football.
). Alabama Crimson Tide- The Tide with maybe Saban’s best team came up short, even thoughΒ he came up short in the end Jalen Hurts showed what he was made of on his final drive. They will be back.
). USC Trojans- Just admit it after watching Sam Darold in the Rose Bowl wouldn’t you have loved to see him in the playoffs? With DarnoldΒ at the helm, the Trojans are once again a threat.
). Oklahoma Sooners- Much like the Trojans they got off to a slow start, but to say they finished strong would be an understatement.
). Penn State Nittany Lions- They beat Ohio State and Wisconsin and Coach Franklin looks like he is about to return the Lions to there glory days.
). Wisconsin Badgers- The Badgers were impressive in the win against Western Michigan.
). Florida State Seminoles- The Seminoles were inconsistent for much of the yearΒ but finished strong. They will be a tough out next season.
). Washington Huskies- The Huskies just could not solve the Crimson Tide defense.
). Ohio State Buckeyes- This teams deficienciesΒ were glaring against Clemson.
). Michigan Wolverines- Lost a close one to the Seminoles, they had a good year, but they tailed off at the end of the season.
). Oklahoma State Cowboys- The Cowboys topped off an excellent year with a convincing win over an excellent Colorado team.
). Western Michigan Broncos- Proved they belonged in the Cotton Bowl, but Wisconsin was to powerfulΒ for them in the end.
). Stanford Cardinal- Won there Bowl game over North Carolina without Christian McCaffrey.
). San Diego State Aztecs- Dominated Houston, this is an excellent team.
). South Florida Bulls- Bowl win over South Carolina capped off one of the greatest years in South Florida history.
). Colorado Buffalos- Got taken apart by Washington and Oklahoma State to end there season. The Buffalos had a great year and seem to be back to being a consistent top 20 program.
). Florida Gators- Dominated Iowa to finish up the season.
). LSU Tigers- The Tigers dismantled Louisville to finish up their season.
). Virginia Tech Hokies- Nice come from behind win over the Razorbacks.
). Utah Utes- This is one of the most underrated programs in the country.
). Auburn Tigers- Got taken apart in the second half against OklahomaΒ if only they had an offense.
). Miami(Fla)- The Canes had a nice season, now can they build off of it?
). Minnesota Golden Gophers- The Gophers had their best season in years, and the defensive performance against Washington State was impressive.
). West Virginia Mountaineers- The Mountaineers were a surprise team this year.
). Pittsburgh Panthers- I know they lost their Bowl game to Northwestern, but it is hard to keep a team out of the top 25 that beat Penn State and Clemson this year.
