High School Football Spotlight: Brennen Antonsanti, Licking Valley

1- What is it like to play for a legend like Coach Baughman?

It’s an honor every day we get to get a one on one talk with him because he provides an insight that not many coaches can provide with his 40 years of experience 

2- How great will it be to take the field for the first time this year at home a all of the seats be filled with screaming crazy fans?

Even with limited attendance last year the stadium was still loud with pride and it’s gonna be crazier with the whole town behind us again. 

3) What other sorts if any do you play for Valley?

No other sports I focus all my energy on football 

4) Which team on the schedule do you want to beat most, if you guys were only going to win one game this season?

Granville they’re our rivals it’s as simple they don’t like us and we don’t like them and after the ending of last years game they definitely want revenge

5) What goals have you set for yourself and then for the team?

We lost a great senior class and we already are hearing a lot of noise doubting us and our goal as a team is to shock the world and make a deep run. 

6) Which position is harder Tackle or Defensive tackle?

I would say definitely tackle with one wrong miscommunication you can end up with a busted play or a QB on the ground and all five guys need to do their job for a successful offense.

7) What have you done in the off-season to improve your game?

Just been working on footwork and putting on size and putting up better weights in the weight room trying to make a difference this year.

8) Which stadium in the County other than your own do you enjoy playing at?

It’s not exactly in the county but in the LCL and it’s definitely Zanesville one of the better facilities I’ve seen around this area. 

9) Have you ever been to a Dension football game?

Never been to a Denison a game. 

10- What is your favorite type of music?

Definitely Country and Rock especially on game day it gets me in a zone.
