I had more than a few messages telling me to screen cap this one.
Is that not the best heavyweight list of all-time?
Get FaceBoxed, bro.
He’s out there in the twilight zone.
Did this guy watch the Yarde fight? Rhetorical question, I know.
I complained about this yesterday and now it’s being thrown out there. Slice it how you like but Alvarez’s three-class achievement is nothing like “Hammerin’” Hanks. Armstrong was the champion in three traditional divisions spanning 21 pounds; Alvarez is the champion at one (160) and a player up to 175, a cross of 15 pounds.
Sorry to bust this guy’s bubble but Alvarez isn’t a 2-3 time Ring belt earner and counting a “regular” belt taken off of a fringe top-10 guy in Fielding is comical. The proliferation of alphabet belts has hyper-inflated resumes to the point of absurdity.
If they fought in about 12 months time Canelo wouldn’t be a heavy favorite, if he would be one at all, at least among the hardcore.
Being a boxer doesn’t mean you know the sport.
Leonard is clearly in that company.
