It’s not crazy to think Quartey would have been the top dog if he fought today, but Page and Lopez aren’t running things.
It ain’t happening.
With someone saying that they are more convinced that Crawford beats him now, but you can’t say he hasn’t fought real opposition. Porter has come up slightly short against three of the division’s best and beaten a top-5 guy in Garcia and a top-10 man in Ugas. Brook was also a top welterweight that Errol overcame. Spence deserves his ranking, which will likely be #1 across the board.
There’s too much to unpack here.
