It sucked to see Gausha settle for a draw against Trout. The former Olympian won that fight. He was sharper, dictated the spacing most of the may through, and landed the cleaner shots. Chalk up another poor decision.
Haney, of course, looked like a real player, though like all prospects I’d like to see them in against ranked fighters before touting them too much. Boxing history is full of examples of boxers who look the part.
You have to give it to Bob Arum for getting eyes on Jamel Herring during Memorial Day weekend, as well.
