This shit rages on and on. Boxing is different now, but it isn’t that different. Most of sports evolution comes down to a few things: technology, diet, better selection for body sizes, the application of accumulated knowledge, and PEDs.

This isn’t sprinting where simple modifications make larger differences. It’s far more nuanced than running on a track. It’s precisely why the Mayorgas, Maidanas, Muassas, etc. of the world always have a place in the sport. I’m not comparing Greb to those guys, of course. I’m merely implying that whatever differentiation is being implied by the poster and others is not that significant.

Vasiliy has improved more than Russell has, and I think that’s clear. You can’t sit on the shelf for most of the past half decade and make the most out of your talent. Lomachenko would beat him once again.
