Season series: Tied 2-2

Why will the Raptors win?

Led by Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, the Raptors are the number one seed for a reason. They are good on the offensive and defensive end of the floor. They are also deep on the bench and if they just play like they did all season they should advance deep into the postseason. That can be easier said than done, as in the past they have not been able to do that, but I think this is a much more mature team that will be able to hold it together for a deep run.

Why will the Wizards win?

Let’s face it, the Wizards only chance here is if the Raptors fall apart in this series. History does show that the Raptors are capable of doing just that. John Wall is the key here. After missing two months of the season he has been back for a couple of weeks and he will have to return to all-star form to give the Wizards a fighting chance in this series.

Prediction: The Raptors are too deep and talented not to win this series. Kyle Lowry and Demar DeRozan will take control early and put an end very quickly to any Wizards hopes.
