Charleston:
The Charleston Classic got off to a slow start for the Alabama Crimson Tide, dropping game one to the Northeastern Huskies. The Huskies started the game on fire and did not let off the throttle dominating the Crimson Tide for the entire game,
With the loss, Alabama will face off with Ball State tomorrow in the second game of the day. The Crimson Tide will need to find consistency on both sides of the court tomorrow, after being held to only 52 points against the Huskies.
With the 68-52 win over Alabama, the Huskies will advance to face the Hokies from Virginia Tech. The Huskies showed great ball movement today against the Crimson Tide and will likely look to continue that success tomorrow when they face the Hokies in the Semifinal game tomorrow morning,
The Huskies were very dominant from the opening tip shooting 52.4 % ( 22-42) including an impressive nine three points, and 88% from the Free Throw line. Northeastern will need a similar outing tomorrow morning when they take on the Hokies.
Alabama struggled offensively going for 37.3% from the field ( 19-51), 15% from behind the arc, and 73% from the line.
