
Drew Cooper, who is the ninth head men’s basketball coach at Thomas More College, begins his fifth season in Crestview Hills.
Thomas More finished the 2016-17 season with a 22-7 record, including a 15-3 mark in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) to tie for the regular season title. Cooper led the Saints to their third PAC Championship Tournament title game during his tenure and defeated Saint Vincent College for the program’s second-ever PAC Championship Title (2009) and advance to the team’s second-ever NCAA Division III Championship Tournament (2009). It was also the first time in program history that the team eclipsed the 20-win mark and advanced to the NCAA Touranment in the same season. Cooper was named PAC Coach of the Year, while Damion King was named first team All-PAC and Simon Clifford was named to the second team.
