Fresh off consecutive wins in the ACC Tournament over Boston College and LouisvilleDuke’s run in the conference’s postseason bracket appears to be over. That’s because the Blue Devils program had a positive COVID-19 test pop-up that precludes them from participating in Thursday evening’s tilt against Florida State, a source confirmed to CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish and Matt Norlander.

The Blue Devils really needed a win over Florida State tonight to put itself in a position to qualify for March madness, but those hopes look to be gone after these latest developments.

In all actuality, an ACC Tournament championship was probably the only thing getting the Blue devils into the Tournament. The Blue Devils had been playing well as of late and looked to have a legitimate chance to actually win the tournament.
