Many people across the country were waiting for College hoops as we know it to bottom out and hit an extremely low point that would be hard to dig out of.
However, with all of that off-season speculation, this season in College Basketball has been one of the best have seen since the introduction of the three-point line. With exciting players like Zion Williamson at Duke, Ja Morant at Murray State and many more the playing excellence of College Basketball has been off the charts.
This College Basketball season has seen the rise of unexpected teams like Tennessee and conferences such as the AAC. When it comes to conference play this season has been one with great parity from the ACC to the Big West and everywhere in between this season has season has seen many great games.
We have also seen a Coach go back home and take over a program that has endless possibilities. Since the spring of 2018, Penny Hardaway has caused a major ripple effect in the College Basketball recruiting world. That level of added recruiting competition is something that will bring out the best in coaches across the country. It will be something that will be interesting to follow as the years pass by.
College Basketball is in an excellent place heading into the last few weeks of the College Basketball season and even further into next season. The talent pool in deeper, the coaches are better, and each conference is getting deeper each and every year. The future is bright for College Basketball and fans across the globe have a lot to be excited about. Buckle up and get ready for March Madness and all the heart-stopping action that is bound to happen.
