The NCAA Basketball Tournament this season will commence a few weeks from now. On March 17, 2020, March Madness will start its newest season featuring 68 official collegiate basketball teams in different conferences. All of these teams will compete against each other in the elimination rounds to make it to the NCAA Conference top 32 teams.
As we inch closer to this most awaited basketball tournament, most of the collegiate teams who wanted to participate this year have successfully submitted their interest competing in the 2020 NCAA tournament. The conference is composed of four divisions, including East, West, South, and Midwest Conferences, respectively.
Remember that the NCAA Board of Directors and the esteemed selection committee will choose 68 teams to participate in the March Madness based on the guidelines they set. Earlier this week, the top 16 was finally revealed, topping the ranking for the seeding process in each conference region to make sure that early odds for college basketball predictions are set. The South Division Conference for the 2020 March Madness will take place at Toyota Center, Houston, Texas, on March 27, 2020. Here are the top four teams that lead the ranking today.
Baylor Bears. The Baylor Bears topped the latest seeding ranking for the 2020 March Madness. This team had appeared in the NCAA Conference Sweet Sixteen last 2017. This year, they are hoping to come back big.
Lousiville Cardinals. The Lousiville Cardinals sit next to the Baylor Bears. This teamβs notable achievement in the NCAA was way back in 2015 when they entered the Final Four.
Seton Hall Pirates. The Seton Hall Pirates makes a way to top the seeding ranking for the South Division. They will take their entry to the NCAA this year, hoping to win the title effortlessly.
Auburn Tigers. The Auburn Tigers takes the last spot for the South Division. The team has been a consistent participant in the NCAA since 1892. Their latest NCAA Championship appearance was in 2010.
The West Region Conference will take place on March 28, 2020, at Staples Center, Los Angeles, California. Pepperdine University will host the game, and here are the four teams who topped the seeding process for this.
Gonzaga Bulldogs. This team tops the seeding ranking for the West Region. They have a strong NCAA performance in the previous years. They were able to reach the Elite Eight in 2019 and were a runner-up in the 2017 NCAA season.
West Virginia Mountaineers. The West Virginia Mountaineers had appeared in the NCAA Conferences for many years. They are second in the seeding ranking for the West Region and hopes to earn the title for this group.
The Villanova Wildcats. This team was theΒ NCAA Champion in 2018. This team hopes to bounce back this year as the title was taken away from them last year.
Oregon Ducks. This team became a part of the Sweet Sixteen pool last year, but failed to enter the Elite Eight. They are in fourth place for the recent seeding in the West Conference for the 2020 March Madness.
The East Conference for the 2020 March Madness will start on March 29, 2020, at Madison Square Garden. Here are the teams that topped the seeding process in this division.
San Diego State Aztecs. Their last notable NCAA appearance was a Sweet Sixteen spot in 2014. This year, they topped the East Conference seeding and looked forward to maintaining the same ranking until the Final Four.
Duke Blue Devils. They were the NCAA Champions in 2015 who took the second seeding spot for this conference.
Maryland Terrapins. This team was part of the Sweet Sixteen last 2016. Together with other teams, the Terrapins are looking to win this year.
Butler Bulldogs. This team was also part of the Sweet Sixteen pool in 2017. They are the last team to rank in the seeding for the East Region.
The Midwest Region will take the conference meet at Lucas Oil Stadium, North Carolina, on March 26, 2020. The tournament will be hosted by Horizon League.

Florida State Seminoles. Taking the third rank for the Midwest is the Florida State Seminoles. Their NCAA records were not as colorful as other teams but hoped to make it this year.
Michigan State Spartans. This team was part of the Final Four last year. In the 2020 March Madness, this team wants to bounce back and hopefully bring home the bacon.
